Julia Lesselyong is a licensed clinical psychologist. She obtained her masters degree and doctor of psychology (PsyD) at University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs. She completed an internship at the Institute on Aging in San Francisco, CA. She worked at the San Francisco Veterans Administration working on research related dementia and mental health in older adults

Many of these residents suffer from dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Frontotemporal dementias, Dementia with Lewy bodies, Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease. Additionally, I focus of behavioral management of medically complex and older adults in LTC many of which suffer from Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
